"I make funny videos of me playing video games, and I share those moments" (PewDiePie). As reported by the Washington Post, a study of video games at the National Academy of Sciences by Vikranth Bejjanki and colleagues showed that playing video games improved performance perception, attention and cognition (Griffiths). Gaming improves your mood, helps you make friends with others around the world, and helps share fun moments with family and friends. To sum it up, gaming is good for you.
Playing video games can relieve your stress, reduce your depression, and and make you feel better. A 2010 study at Texas A&M conducted by associate Professor Dr. Christopher J. Ferguson showed that both men and women who played violent video games long-term seemed to be able to handle stress better, become less depressed and get less hostile during stressful work.
A report from the Pew Research Center (PRC) found that 57 percent of teens have met a new friend online, and nearly 29 percent said they've made more than five friends.
"When Will Nickleson and his daughter want to spend time together, they fire up Nintendo's Wii and play a few rounds of 'Wii Sports' or 'Mario Party 8'. 'It's kind of difficult picking a game for a 7 year-old girl, but she really likes to beat her dad at bowling'" says Nickleson, who is a stay at home dad (PewDiePie).

Some disagree and claim that video games "rot" your brain, you lose concentration, and video games make you dull. However, if we don't play games, we might have much more stressful lives. Remember, video games gives you less stress, and help you to make friends. Now that you have all this information, Play Games More!
